- Henry A. Pearsons, 1728 Chicago avenue, Evanston, has been the leader of the Pearsons-Taft Lumber Company for 47 years. He has sold his interests to H. L. Taft and [unclear] Taft and to various employees of the company. The late D. K. Pearsons established the company in 1866. D. K. Pearsons retired in 1878. The present corporation was formed in 1887. The officers are Oren B. Taft, president; H. A. Pearsons, vice-president; Oren E. Taft, second vice-president and Harry Lee Taft, secretary and treasurer. Under the change H. A. Pearsons drops out as vice-president. The directors consist of the three officers remaining and L. K. Boisen [unclear] and L. G. Cullen. The two latter succeed H. F. Pearsons and H. A. Pearsons leaving one vacancy on the board.
