- Two weeks after a decision to cancel the musical "Ragtime" brought a flurry of protests from the arts community, Wilmette Park District officials say they will put on the show. The show will be staged at an indoor venue instead of in the outdoor amphitheater where they feared racial epithets and other language in the dialogue might offend passers by.
