A complaint against "wheels of fortune" and othe ralleged gambling devices operated at Sans Souci, White City and Riverview Park, was addressed yesterday to Chief Gleason by Shelby M. Singleton, 522 Hill street, Wilmette, secretary of the Citizens' association. Owners of 10-cent games in which "Tedy Bears" are given as prizes, make $2 on each turn of the wheel, according to Mr. singleton. In his letter he declares that all gambling concessions at White City are leased to Sam Lennox, who sublets them to "Bud" White and "Sis" Hart. Lennox's son is quoted as saying that matters are "fixed" with the police so that open gambling will not be interferred with.
