- Funeral services were held last Friday at the Hebblethwaite chapel for Frank W. Farwell of Evanston who died Wednesday, August 21, in the North End Music and Jewelry shop, which he had owned and operated for many years. Mr. Farwell was born in Ladoga, Wis, 89 years ago, and had been active in business until the very day of his death. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James H. Fletcher of Wilmette, and Mrs. Earl Butler of Elgin, Ill. There are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. James Fletcher took the remains to Sioux Falls, S.D. for burial; Two other daughters are buried there.
