- Harry and Beth Drucker are the owners of the first home in Wilmette to use solar rooftop panels to heat water as well as produce electricity. Renewable energy specialist Brandon Leavitt talked with students from neighboring Harper Elementary School about the Drucker's efforts. Sometimes the Drucker's sell excess electricity back to the electric company.
