- Miriam W. Hastings, 64, died March 21 at Highland Park Hospital. Her husband is Frederick Gay. A native of Manchester, Conn. Mrs. Hastings is survived by her husband; a daughter, Brooke Rose Allison of Northbrook; a son, Thomas G. of Boulder, Colo.; six grandchildren; her father C. Elmore Watkins of Manchester, Conn.; a brother, R. Bruce and a sister, Ruth B. Shea, both of Manchester.
