- Registration materials are available for the spring session of Club Central. The winter session of Club Central ends March 20.
Students in kindergarten, first and second grades, along with their parents, are invited to an open house in their respective classroom from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
The next book club meeting with Mrs. Horowitz and staff will take place Monday in the school library. The book, Last Child in the Woods: Saving our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder, will be discussed.
The "Kickin' It Olde School" (renaissance faire-themed) benefit is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 11 at the Winnetka Community House.
School will be closed from March 21, which is Good Friday, through March 28 for spring break. Classes resume March 31.
This year's jump rope community service event is scheduled for April 4.
Registration is nearing for next year's District 39 kindergartners (children who will turn 5 before Sept. 1, 2008). A lottery to determine placement in to morning or afternoon classes is scheduled April 24.
Central needs volunteers for lunch on Fridays in March and every day in May and June, but especially Wednesdays and Thursdays. Contact Marci Blunk or Lisa Grill
