- Wilmette's Youth Commission has awarded $21,850 in grant funds to 10 local agencies to support programs to prevent emotional and substance abuse problems in young teens. Those organizations include Children's Advocacy Center, Erika's Lighthouse, Family Service Center, Harbour, Haven Youth and Family Services, LINKS North Shore Youth Health Services, PEER Services, Warming House Youth Center, Winnetka Youth Organization and Youth Connection.
