Village leaders in several villages have been discussing the possiblity of converting a 7-mile stretch of Union Pacific railroad right-of-way west of the Edens Expressway, into a multiuse recreational trail. Chicagoland Bicycle Federation was paid $24,000 to conduct a feasability study. Comments by Norbert Budde of Evanston and Therese Block, a neighbor of the proposed path.
