- Roger M. Nordby, 89, a long-time resident of Wilmette and Glencoe, died peacefully on March 5 in his home in Juno Beach, Fla.
Mr. Nordby was born Sept. 11, 1918 and raised in South Dakota.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ruth; one son, Craig; three grandchildren, Daniel and Laura Hendrickson and Christina Nordby; and one brother, Earl.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Hendrickson.
