- Herbert J. Ellis, 73, died Friday in his Glenview home.
Born Oct. 21, 1934 in ChicagoSurvivors include a daughter, Jane (Jack) Gibbins; three sons, James (Linda), Michael (Susan) and Robert; four grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Claire and Samuel; and a sister, Jean (the late Richard) Radtke.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue, called "Susie."
