An alumnae association meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the school.

Dismissal is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Seventh-grade girls are invited to Regina's "Think Pink" Girls Night In event, scheduled from 7-9 p.m. March 7. Participants may RSVP to Jen Pracher

Regina's production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" opens at 7:30 p.m. March 13 and continues March 14 at the same time.

In late January the school's respect club celebrated a student exchange with students from Thornton Township High School in south suburban Harvey. Comments by ninth-grader Stephanie Aguilera (Chicago), junior Kaitlynn Maloney . Regina participants were: Nicole Hall (Evanston), Syra Vasquez (Chicago, 60641), Kionte Bryant (Evanston), Krystle Harvey (Evanston), Nicole Klees (Chicago, 60657), Stephanie Aguilera (Chicago, 60622), Colleen Nelson (Mt. Prospect), Tayana Tornes (Calumet City), Claire Kaufman (Wilmette), Alex Sese (Elk Grove Village), Erica Trejo (Chicago, 60613), English Washington, (Evanston), Stephany MerLan (Chicago, 60630), Leah Cardona (Chicago, 60625) and Sarah Kabbani (Glenview).

The school recently acquired four "Smart Boards," also called "interactive presentation managers," for use in the English, social studies, science and math departments. Smart boards are possible because of a grant written by Katie House-Daugird, a member of Regina's class of 1986, who works for SmartTech. She and co-worker Ginny Washburne instructed faculty on "Smart Board basics" for use in the classroom.
