- Laugh "Tak": Actor/comedian Hal Sparks, who was raised in Winnetka and attended New Trier, will provide the voice for "Tak" in the upcoming Nickelodeon series of the same name. Sparks is the former host of E!'s "Talk Soup," recently appeared on VH1's "I Love the 80s," and has appeared in movies such as "Spider-Man 2" and "Dude, Where's My Car?" In 1987, the Sun-Times named him "Funniest Teenager in Chicago." He performs Feb. 28 through March 1 at the Chicago Improv, 5 Woodfield Road, Schaumburg.
