- Grant H. Nichols, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent H. Nichols of 2051 Glendale Av., Northbrook, was killed Aug. 14 when the car in which he was driving was struck by a falling tree during a storm. He is survived by his parents; a sister, Jane 13; a brother Kent, 8; and a brother Mark, 21; all living at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Blessing of Des Plaines and Mrs. Jennie Nichols of Royal Oak, Mich.
