- John Joseph Kriesant, 63, of Channel Lake, Ill., a former Wilmette policeman, drowned Aug. 9 in the Fox Lake River near Ill. Hwy. 173 west of Antioch. Surviving are the widow Jeanette; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Ray, Mrs. Carol Schneider, Joann, and Linda; two sons, Walter and Allan; fours [sic] sisters; two brothers; and 12 grandchildren.
