- Alice K. Pool of Evanston, a former longtime resident of Wilmette, died Dec. 4 at Westminster Place of the Presbyterian Homes in Evanston. She was 85.
Born in Akron, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Bill; daughter Alison (Lin Standley) of Albuquerque, N.M.; son Jim (Charlene) of Skokie; five grandchildren; sister Phyllis Amick of Montana; and brother Martin Kresge of Nashville, Tenn.
