Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 7:00 P.M., the Plan Commission of the Village of Wilmette, will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers of Wilmette Village Hall, 1200 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois, at which time the following matter will be considered:

2005-SZC-07
A request by the Village of Wilmette to amend the Zoning Map by rezoning the NR, Neighborhood Retail Business District currently mapped at Fourth Street and Linden Avenue, to NR-1, Neighborhood Retail Business District. The area proposed to be rezoned is legally described as:
Beginning at the midpoint of the public-right of-way of Linden Avenue, approximately 251.94' west of the intersection with Third Street, thence south approximately 339' along the east boundary of Lot 6 and Lot 21 in the Lake Shore Addition to Wilmette Subdivision and approximately 251' south along the east boundary of the Chicago Transit Authority right-of-way, thence west approximately 528.5' to the midpoint of the public right-of-way of Fourth Street at approximately 272' north of the intersection with Maple Avenue, thence north approximately 419.87' to the midpoint of the public right-of-way of the alley located approximately 169.5' south of Linden Avenue, thence west approximately 260', thence north approximately 199.5' along the west boundary of Lot 5 located in the Lake Shore Addition to Wilmette Subdivision to the midpoint of the public right-of-way of Linden Avenue, thence east approximately 50', thence north approximately 246' along the west boundary of Lot 13 in Lake Shore Addition to Wilmette Subdivision to the midpoint of the public right-of-way of the alley, thence, east approximately 100', thence north approximately 95' along the west boundary of the south 85' of Lot 2 in Lake Shore Addition to Wilmette Subdivision , thence east approximately 143' to the midpoint of the public right-of-way of Fourth Street approximately 106' south of the intersection with Greenleaf Avenue, thence south approximately 95', thence east along the midpoint of the public right-of-way of the alley approximately 303', thence south approximately 236.14' to the point of beginning.
