- The Illinois High School Association's decision to limit team qualifiers to two schools instead of three forced the Trevians to settle for individual state slots after they placed a disappointing third Tuesday at the Hersey Class 3A Sectional tournament in Mount Prospect. Wilson Bowen, Mills Rendell, Graham Frank and Michael Chudacoff will compete as individuals at the state finals.
