- A Cook County Circuit Court judge fined contractor Jurcak Denek of JD Construction $3,000 last week after hearing he hadn't cleaned up demolition debris at 314 Park Avenue in Wilmette. Paul Ross and his family had contracted a job to deepen the basement of the house, but the job failed last summer and the house is ruined. The chimney of 314 Park also had collapsed onto the house next door destroying a wall and two staircases.
