- John W. Brown, 66, of 1186 Spruce Street, Winnetka, died on October 15 at Summit Hospital, Ocomomowoc, Wis. Surviving are his widow, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Samuel M. Levine and Mrs. Paul M. Zorn, Jr.; and three sisters, Mrs. G. Tappan Francis, Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Wm. M. Rutter, Princeton, N.J.; and Mrs. Augustus S. Cobb, Philadelphia, Pa.
