- A former resident of Wilmete, George Gauger of the Ridgeview Hotel, Evanston, pased away on Monday in a Chicago hospital at the age of 85. A native of Germany. He had made his home at 229 [unclear] Linden avenue, Wilmette, for 36 years. His widow, Emily; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Gould of Woodstock; two sons, Richard of Evanston, and William of Kenilworth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren survive.
