- A mock Republican convention was held in the gymnasium of the Northwestern University recently. About a thousand students participated.
Mayor Pearson was temporary chairman, and Judge Olson, of the Municipal Court of Chicago, was made permanant chairman.
The convention nominated Ex-Governor Hadley, of Missouri, for president by a vote of nearly 600 against 400 for Theodore Roosevelt. Illinois candidate, Lawrence Y. Sherman received 116 votes. - Date of Publication
