- A former Wilmette resident, Leroy P. Martens, 56, died Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Ia. He is survived by his widow, Alice Bacon Martens; a daughter, Mrs. L.P. Maddox of San Diego, Cal.; a son, Roy C., of Torrence, Cal.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Martens of St. Petersburg, Fla., and six grandchildren.
