- A report of the executive committees of the North Shore Citizens' association shows progess in the prosecution of violators of the New Trier Township local option law and driving out "blind pigs" Attorney Shelby M. Singlelord's report shows there were nine indictments returned by the grand jury for illegal liquor selling. On old offender was convicted and sentenced to county jail for thirty days. The most persistent offender in Gross Point pleaded guilty, was paroled, and placed under bond to discontinue selling liquor. A "Blind Pig" in West Kenilworth was put out of business without suit. Three other offenders pleaded guilty and gave bonds to quit business.
