- Dorothy Lucille (nee Maye) Johnson, died Aug. 20 at the St. Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Evanston. She was 81.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Johnson.
Survivors include daughters Ethel M. King of Haymarket, Va., and Denise Johnson, Carol A. Johnson and Diane M. French, all of Evanston; son Jerome M. (Judith) of Moore, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Leroy (Lula) Maye and Roland H. (Bettye) Maye; sister Allyne (Harold) Ellelby; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
