The Wilmette Methodist Episcopal Church celebrated its fifth anniversary Sunday. Rev. Thomas Gale said the church has enjoyed the largest growth in membership in the past eighteen months of any other north shore church. More than 200 new members were added during the last year and a half. Present membership is more than 400 persons and the annual salary of the pastor is $2,500.

Three former pastors came for the celebration: Rev. J. H. Alling of Chicago, Rev. E. B. Crawford, and Rev. James O'May. Miss Dorothy Rae sang two solos, MRs. E. W. Case gave two violin solos while Miss Manley played piano.

Congratulatory letters were received from Mrs. H. B. Ridgeway, wife of a former pastor; Rev Hugh D. Atchison [unclear] of Dubuque, Iowa; Rev. William C. Cleworth [unclear] of Tama, Iowa; Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Birmingham [unclear]
