- Miss Emma Buss died in the St. Francis hospital in Evanston on Sunday. Born in St. Louis, Mo., August 15, 1887, Miss Buss had made her home with her sister, Mrs. R. L. McIntosh, 121 Woodbine avenue, Wi1mette, since September, 1945. Besides Mrs. McIntosh, Miss Buss has three other sisters and one brother surviving her. They are Mrs. P. W. Turner of Rochester, N.Y, Mrs. C. J. Ward of Allendale, N.J., Mrs. F. M. Henry of McAlester, Okia., and Charles H. Buss, who resides in St. Louis, Mo. She also has several surviving nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and nephews.
