- Mrs. Kathryn Elizabeth Vernon, 80, passed away February 8 at her home, 625 Clinton Place, Evanston. Mrs. Vernon was the widow of the Rev. Horace K. Vernon who died in 1909 in Dundee. She is survived by a daughter, Grace, of the Evanston home; two sons, Samuel S. of Wilmette, and Leroy N. of Geneva, Ill.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
