- Willie B. Triplett, a longtime resident of Evanston, died May 13 at the Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago. He was 74.
Mr. Triplett was born June 11, 1932, in Ackerman, Miss.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert D. and R.T., two nephews and one niece.
Survivors include his partner, Sara Hood; sons Johnny Triplett and Theophillus Hood; three grandchildren; brothers R.C., Edgar and Willie T.; eight nephews; one niece; and many other relatives.
