- Librarian Barbara Unger fostered the development of an online database created by students of information gleaned from field trips. The "virtual museum", begun in 1997, now has more than 10 years of student Web pages on the school district's Web site. The latest, "Museum Wing" just won the $4,000 prize from American Library Association's first Sara Jaffarian School Library Program Award for Exemplary Humanities Programming.
