- A qualifier in three different events, Wikar came up short in the long jump, triple jump and 100-meter hurdles as the Trevians failed to score a point in the Class AA team standings at the Illinois High School Association state finals. Kate and Beth Ottolini fell short of their goals for the run and were eliminated in the 1600 prelims. Freshmen quarter-milers Beth Hall and Maggie Shelton couldn't match their best times of the season in the open 400 and New Trier's other infdividual qualifier, Sammie Kolton, ran last in her 100 heat.
