- A dance concert, Sunday Afternoon with Gershwin" was held April 22 at Sears School Auditorium given by the Creative Dance Theatre of the North Shore in Wilmette co-directed by Mary Ann LaJoie Sandroff and Jennifer Arellano. Five dance scholarships were given to high school seniors Maria Callegari of Kenilwortoh, Elizabeth Cross of Winnetka, Degan Gottlieb of Glencoe and Janet Guo and Sara Nichols of Wilmette.
