- Elspeth A. Green and Jason Yum, both of Wilmette, and students at New Trier High School, have earned National Merit Scholarships.
Several students at St. Franis Xavier School won awards at the Illinois State Science Fair: Tom Buehler, Nick Romer, Jack Buehler, Ryan Lawyer. Science teacher is Patrick Van.
Special tribute to Ron Beerger, principal of St. Joseph School to celebrate his 40th year in Roman Catholic education.
St. Francis Xavier School thanked retiring school board members Louise Sanborn, David Morgan, Eddie Bettling. New Board members are Ann Ponzi, Mike Conway, Brendan Kelly and Melissa Schaupp. Current board members are Todd Ehlman, Susie Gordon, Bob McNamara, John Donahue and Kate Fahrenbach. - Date of Publication
