- Corporal Ralph H. Rice has received his commission as Captain in the Construction Department of the Army and will leave this week for Washington, D.C.
B. E. Schonthal joined the Company Monday night.
In addition to Captain A. H. Howard, Lieutenant John R. MacFarland and Corporal George L. Wire, Mr. W. McCollough and Mr. W. D. Matthews are in the Wilmette contingent at Camp Steever. Mr. E. Pond, also of Wilmette, was at the camp for one week.
On Sunday, August 18, the Wilmette contingent at Camp Steever were visited by Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Drake, Lyman Drake, Jr. and Miss Helen Roberts.
Captain Howard has been late with letters.
The Military training at Camp Steever is to begin next week. - Date of Publication
