- To promote better understanding of the Islamic faith and Muslim culture, the Community Chruch of Wilmette has invited college professor Dr. Ghada Talhami to speak on "Islamic Societies Here and Abroad: The Challenge of Assimilation." The free public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at the Community Church of Wilmete , 1020Forest Avenue.
