- The days activities will include adresses, flag raising,community singing and band concerts. Dr. Donald M. Gallie will delivier the address of the day. Mrs. F. G. White is arranging for the Allies' flags to be carried by Wilmette women and girls. The village children will have athletic contests for Thrift Stamps at the West Side park under direction of A. G. Melville and M. D. Hopkins. Thw Wilmette band will give a concert at the West Side park and Mr. A. G. Melville will lead the children in singing National songs. The Northwestern Elevated railroad band will give concerts in the Lake Front park and at the Central School at 10th and Central avenues.
