- Annual meeting of the Wilmette branch of the Chicago Society of Infant Welfare was held Wednesday afternoon, June 26 at the Central School Hall. Dr. Sylvia Hardy, chairman of the Chicago committee of Child Welfare of the Chicacgo Council of National Defense gave an account of work accomplished in England. The organization wishes to enlarge the work here and make it Child Welfare instead of Infant Welfare by raising the age limit of supervision from 2 to 6 years. The board will be entertained at luncheon by Mrs. C. P. Evans, Gregory avenue on Friday June 28.
