Marriage of Miss Cecil Collin Rigby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Rigby of Evanston to Lieutenant Frederick L. Nussbaum on March 16 in Anniston, Alabama.

Engagement of Miss Orleta Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Lewis, 908 Central avenue, to Edwin J. Clampitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clampitt, 1124 Central avennue.

"Plantation Days" will be presented by Catherine Pannill Mead April 3 at the Wilmette Woman's Club. Hostesses will be Mesdames Frank J. Scheidenhelm and Frank T. Cutler.

Ladies' Aid Society of the Methodist Church will meetp April 4

Mr. Thomas Hall, son of Mrs. Lorin Hall, 1008 Greenleaf, and Mr. Howard Shurtleff, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Shurtleff, 815 Lake Avenue, left Monday for Camp Grant.

Winnetka women will conduct a hat sale at Community House next week. Proceeds will be sent to Dr. Alice Bartlow-Brown in France to relieve destitute women and children.

Mrs. Lucinda Cady Ross, who has been spending the winter with her son, Robert Ross and family, 1018 Central avenue, left for Flushing, Long Island to visit her daughter.

Mrs. W. A. Tucker, 1214 Lake avenue, returned from a visit with her daughter, Miss Verna Tucker, a student at the University of Wisconsin.

Mr. and Mrs. James Chambers, of Champaign, Ill., announce the birth of a baby girl on March 20. Mrs. Chambers was formerly Miss Ruth Rich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rich, 1016 Linden avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. James Parker Bowing of Winnetka are going for a trip to Atlantic City, N. J. They will also visit their son, E. P. Gowing in Boston.

Mrs. Bruce McLeish, of Glencoe, pesident of the Ravinia Club, entertained the chairmen of the north shore towns at luncheon on Wednesday. The new chairman for Wilmette, to succeed Mrs. Charles A Wanner, is Mrs. Carl Hecker, 505 Laurel avenue.

Wilmette Culture Club will meet with Mrs. A. E. Barber, 621 Linden avenue, on April 5.

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Wohlgemuth, formerly of Wilmette, will move May first to Hinsdale, Ill.

Mr. W. C. Shurtleff, 815 Lake avenue, will return tomorrow from a business trip to Boston, Mass.

Howard Cutler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Cutler, 1001 Lake avenue, at Great Lakes Station, left for Philadelphia.

Mrs. B. F. Bilsland and daughter, Winifred of 1228 Elmwood avenue, are spending a fortnight visiting in Covington, Ind.

Miss Veronica Tucker, 1421 Wilmette avenue, returned from the surgery at Evanston Hospital.

Mr. W. H. Tucker of Logansport, Ind., is visiting at the homes of his sons, E. A. Tucker, 229 Wood Court, and W. A. Tucker, 1214 Lake avenue.

Mr. Robert Tansill, 1010 Chestnut avenue, will leave for Carlsbad, New Mexico.
