- The Wilmette Public Library has been designated as an official headquarters for the enrollment of boys between the ages of 16 and 20 years inclusive, in the United States Boy's Working Reserve. Local boys wishing to do war work during the summer have been requested to sign up with library officials who will enter their applications at the Cook County headquarters.
