North Shore Music Festival takes place in Patten gymnasium in May. Soloists will include Amelita Galli-Curci, Lucien Muratore, Leonara Sparkes, Marie Sundelins [unclear] and Paul Althouse supported by the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra.

Engagement of Miss E. Eunice Woodward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norton L. Woodward, of 314 Fourteenth street, to Sergeant Donald Armstrong, son of Hon. and Mrs. Fowler A. Armstrong of Metropolis, Ill.

Nominations were made for officers of the Woman's Club of Wilmette: Mrs. Fred White, Mrs. Max Zabel, Mrs. Carl Hecker, Mrs. E. W. McCullough, Mrs. W. D. Lawrence, Mrs. J. C. Mannerud, Mrs. C. C. Prescott, Mrs. Charles Harrison Smith, Mrs. Alfred Noyes, Mrs. George C. Murdock, Mrs. M. C. Beymer, Mrs. A. W. Hostetter, Mrs. T. Breyer, Mrs. Lorin Hall, Mrs. R. E. Pattison Kline, Mrs. P. Anderson, Mrs. Edward Mendsen, Mrs. Roy E. Bowers, Mrs. William A. Durgin, Mrs. Monroe R. Venables

Musicale and art exhibit will be held Saturday at the Log studio of Adam Emory Albright in Hubbard Woods. Musical program given by Mrs. Wilbur D. Nesbit, Mrs. Daniel Hayes, Mr. Edward Johnson and Mr. Robert McDonald. Mr. Albright has recently returned from Venezuela, South America, with new pictures. Special cars on the 2:30 train of the Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee railroad will be available for transportation to the event.

Mrs. Edward Anderson, 1123 Elmwood avenue, will be hostess to Thursday Club next week.

Mrs. E. H. Robinson, 630 Central avenue, returned from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Richard Allen in Minneapolis, Minn.

Mrs. Charles K. Parson of Central avenue is convalescing at the Evanston hospital.

Mrs. Henry Riggs Rathbone of Kenilworth, is in Palm Beach, Florida.
