- Lieutenant Eugene Blanchard Jones, pilot, may be at the battle front today. Jones, 22, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira A. Jones, 1027 Central avenue. He enlisted in the Air corps in January 1917, leaving for France in October. His sister, Mrs. Janet Summers, lives in Alaska. Included in the same section as Jones is Quentin Roosevelt, son of Theodore Roosevelt. Jones and his Squadron expect to enter battle service about April 1.
