- The week of February 4 has been set aside by the Department of Justice for registration of the half million unnaturalized Germans in the continental United States by police and postmasters. Registration involves gathering information about every German together with his photograph and fingerprints. German women and persons under 14 are exempted. Registered aliens must carry an identity card.
