- 10,000 visitors are expected at the patriotic concert of the Eleventh Regiment, Illinois Infantry, to be held at the Second Regiment Armory, 2643 West Madison street, Chicago, on Washington's birthday. Wilmette is represented on the executive staff with Major S. H. Vowell, commander of the Second Battalion; Captain George E. Harbaugh, commander of K Company; Lieutenant C. H. Searle of the medical staff; Lieutenant Fred A. Rye and Lieutenant A. L. Rice of K Company.
