The sloop, Sepia, owned by W. J. Lawton of Winnetka, was blown out into the lake. The Coast Guard rescued two women and four men clinging to the overturned boat. The Coast Guard also rescued James Fay and a friend when the cruiser Lone Wolf went aground four miles off Glencoe. In a separate operation Harry Nichols and a friend were rescued after being stalled five miles out from Wilmette. Three other boats were towed in by the guards also for a total of 18 persons rescued on Sunday.
