- Hans A. Spanuth of 229 6th St. in Wilmette, age 92, a pioneer in the motion picture industry, died July 23 at the Waukegan Pavillion Nursing Center. He was born in Germany. Mr. Spanuth is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John P. Jordan of Wilmette; a granddaughter, Mrs. O. T. Barry III of Redondo Beach, Cal.; a grandson, John T. Jordan of Denver; and two great grandchildren. He and his wife, Dena, who preceeded him in death, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1968.
