Robert P. Irvine, Sergeant, U.S. Army, Engineers Depot Detachment

Died of pneumonia in Houston, Tex. on January 16, 1919. Buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.

Survived, at the time of his death by:
Parents, James M. and Mildred Patterson Irvine, 1042 Greenwood Av., Wilmette.
Attended the Wilmette grammar school, New Trier High School and the University of Misouri.
Enlisted in June 1917, began his training at the Municipal Pier, and was then sent to Camp Logan, Tex., where he was a sergeant with Company C, 108th Engineers. Later was transferred to the Engineers regiment.
