First Lieutenant, British Expeditionary Force, 148th Aerial Squadron

Killed in his plane, August 29, 1918

Survived, at the time of his death, by:

His uncle, with whom he lived, at 523 Washington Av., Wilmette; Parents, George G. & Grace Whitaker Seibold, Washington, D.C.; Wife, the former Catharine Benson, whom he married in July 1918.

In the real estate business at the time he entered the service in 1917.

Trained at Plattsburgh (N.Y.?) and then went to Officer's Training Camp at Fort Sheridan. Volunteered for Aviation with the Royal Flying Corps of Canada and later went to Fort Worth, Tex., as instructor with the 22nd Aerial Squadron. Went overseas in January 1918, and was with the 148th Aerial Squadron, British Expeditionary Force.
