- A group of preservationists this week is working to save a house they say is one of the few surviving private homes designed by architect Daniel Burnham. Residents say they have two potential buyers who would spare 157 Kenilworth Ave. from demolition, but no definitive answer from the current owner Antoinette Vigilante on whether she would take such an offer. The house was designed in 1908 for Frederick J.V. Skiff.
