Description
- Full Text
One message of happiness came out of the sorrow-choked cities of the Irish coast Wednesday to break the monotony of grief and despair which has gripped Chicago homes since the Lusitania tragedy. It read: "Safe and Well." It came from Miss Agnes Crosbie, a maid in the home of Ainslie C. Bell of Wilmette, one of a party of four girls who went abroad to visit their old homes in Scotland. With the exception of Miss Agnes Smith, an employee of Mrs. Bernard Mayes of Glencoe, all of the party now are known to be safe.
