- Gerhardt C. Rugen, 86, of Northfield, died March 21 in North Chicago.
Mr. Rugen was born March 18, 1919 in Evanston.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon; one son, Dennis (Sarah); seven grandchildren, Matthew and Benjamin Conde and Jill, Grace, Dana, Holly and Samuel Rugen; one sister, Carol Huber; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Natalie (nee Triplett); and his brother, Edwin (Shirley).
Interment was at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.
